DVD Montage Preparation
It works best to break your project down in sections. Around 25 photos per average song (about 3 minutes)
is a good rule of thumb. Separate each group of photos and number the sequence order.
Background music is seamlessly mixed to create perfect timing with the photos.

DVD Montage Order Form
Photos
Photos of any size will be scanned and enhanced with Adobe Photoshop for the best possible quality and optimum resolution for the DVD video. If you have a specific sequence order, please number the back of each photo with a pencil and group with music in the order you want the pictures presented.
Digital Images
Either from a digital camera or photos you scan on your own. If you scan photos on your own, please be sure to scan at 300dpi minimum for best quality results. If you have a particular order you want them to be displayed, please number each image file with the sequence.
(i.e. 001.jpg 002.jpg 003.jpg)
Slides or Negatives
Any images on slides or negatives will be scanned and retouched for best quality on the DVD.
Memorabilia
Items like newspaper clippings or awards often make great content for a montage.
Video Clips
You can provide digital video clips either on a disc or by email (depending on file size) in any of the various digital video formats. Video on VHS or any camcorder tapes can be captured and edited for clips to use as well. Include the scene description and time stamp for each tape.
Music
Picking out songs that work well with the subject is important. Here are some song ideas that have worked well in montage projects. You can provide music you own on CD to use in your project or we can download songs for you.
Titles / Text
Captions / Messages
Any text captions or messages are included in the package pricing. You can either provide ideas at the time you submit your materials, or wait until the editorial preview to suggest ideas.
Editorial Preview
Once all materials are received and your project is compiled, you will receive a link via email to view your entire project, including the main menu. Each image will be numbered for you to identify any images that you may want to change the order, delete, add new images, etc. You can also suggest captions or other additions to make your project just the way you want it.
